Paul & Rachael, Chester Wedding Photography

Hello all, catching up with the blog with a few images from the fantastic Paul and Rachael’s pre-wedding shoot in Chester. I had a fab time hanging out with these guys and we shot so many images, it must have been something in the region of 400 pics, and Paul’s knowledge of Chester meant I discovered some great places to shoot.

Thanks for a super fun day guys and can’t wait to shoot your big day at the end of the month.

Will and Helen’s pre-wedding photography in Liverpool

Last weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out with two very cool people who’s big-day I am invited to shoot in September. We had an amazing time investigating the joys of the grand old city of Liverpool. I love how once you get out of the shopping areas of Liverpool it’s like a journey in time and the city really shows its handsome side. Will and Helen really are a fun couple and I can’t wait to shoot them dressed up and having the best day of their lives.

Thanks for a fab time guys.

Marne and Dan’s Beautiful Aglo-Indian Wedding

It’s not often you get to photograph a wedding over the course of two days and certainly not often you get to photograph such colourful affairs.

Marne and Dan are fantastic, fun couple – you may have gathered this from their earlier pre-wedding photoshoot. Marne’s Dress was a real change from what I am used to shooting, it was a gorgeous indian and traditional european inspired dress with so many beautiful details I didn’t know where to start shooting it… and what fantastic shoes, now even as a man I can tell a gorgeous pair of shoes when I see them (no I’m not Gok).  Their wedding day at Shrigley Hall in Macclesfield went fantastically and everyone had a fantastic time -even with our notorious English weather. The bride and groom looked stunning and you could see they were truly in love.

Day two was held at the Central Gurdwara in Manchester; it was an amazing privilege to see how another culture treats a wedding and although the ceremony was a longer one than an English one I must confess it was much more relaxed; no you can’t take any pictures rules here. It was gorgeous to see everyone in such colourful dress and how the children played whilst the official business of a wedding took place. Marne looked amazing in her dress which was as vibrant and colourful as her anglo/indian creation -two wedding dresses, now there is an idea.

I really enjoyed the day and the insight into the Sikh way of life so thank you Marne and Dan for giving me the opportunity to be part of your special day.
